For the more adventurous, there is a boat ramp just off the park taking you straight into the Mighty Murray, a bike track will allow those on two wheels to begin exploring Corowa and surrounds, and for those wanting to grab a coffee and hit the shops, Ball Park Caravan Park is only a very short walk to the main hub.

As the birth place of federation, Corowa has many historic elements for people to explore, such as the Federation Museum which house an excellent collection of memorabilia of Corowa and district, or explore just outside the parks boundaries, the Canoe Tree, which is one of the finest examples of an Aboriginal Canoe Tree to be seen anywhere along the Murray.

If you have a dog that also needs entertaining then at your door step are several fabulous walking trails. You can head into Wahgunyah to explore the Murray from the Victorian side, or use the designated trails/paths in Corowa to explore more of the township.

If a night out is on your list, Corowa has you covered with eateries, pubs and clubs.  With a variety of food choices locally your taste buds are well taken care of.  Italian, Thai, Chinese, and traditional pub fare are all catered for, along with an extensive menu at the likes of the RSL Club Corowa (free shuttle bus available). You could even meander up to the Empire Hotel in Wahgunyah which you can just about see from the caravan park.  With local muso’s performing in different venues and lively pub environments, a fun night out is easy to enjoy.
